We have courses for teenagers and above. Our courses are conducted on a weekly basis during each school term. These courses are designed for you to learn how to use your cameras to their best ability in a fun and practical way.
Beginner DSLR & Mirrorless
Do you want to get more out of your camera but don’t know where to start? Join me for a beginner DSLR course ‘From auto to manual’ to learn how to use the most important settings on your camera. The course runs for eight weeks over term 4, 2024, with one 1.5-2 hour session a week, based in Port Macquarie. This course is available on Wednesdays from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
The course will be run in the studio, but will also venture to Flynns Beach and surrounds for practical photography applications. Classes will be held at Shop 3, 4 Flynn St, Port Macquarie. The course will cost $289 for the term, which includes your best photo professionally printed at the end of the course. There will also be options at the end of the course for you to buy more prints in a range of mediums (print, canvas, acrylic, framed print).
Teen
At Amegilla Studios, we're excited to offer a six-week teen photography course designed to explore the diverse world of photography, one style at a time. Each week, students will dive into a different genre. This hands-on course is perfect for teens eager to develop their skills, discover their photographic voice, and experiment with various techniques under the guidance of an experienced photographer.
The course will run in term 4, starting on October 24th and running each Thursday for six weeks. The course will cost $165 for the term, which includes your best photo professionally printed at the end of the course. There will also be options at the end of the course for you to buy more prints in a range of mediums (print, canvas, acrylic, framed print).
