Amegilla Studios exists to help photographers build strong foundations.

I believe powerful images aren’t created by presets or shortcuts — they’re built on understanding light, composition, and intention.

Based in Port Macquarie, I offer structured photography education designed to help photographers grow with clarity and confidence.

PS - Why the name Amegilla? I love photographing the natural world, from Port Macquarie’s beaches to tiny insects. Blue-banded bees (amegilla cingulata) are my favourite. My wife puts up with me chasing insects as long as I chase birds with her. It’s a good arrangement.
